In summer 2004, the AMOS business activities have been transferred from the IT department of Swiss International Air Lines Ltd. (SWISS) to Swiss AviationSoftware Ltd. (Swiss-AS) being a 100% subsidiary of SWISS. By founding a new company the AMOS-team has been given the possibility to fully concentrate on its core business and to be able to take all necessary measures independently of SWISS to further strengthen the position of AMOS as industry-leading MRO solution in- and outside of Europe.
History
The success story of the company goes back to the year 1989 – ever since, we have been a reliable and consistent partner to our many customers. Swiss-AS positions itself not among the many pure software enterprises, but as a company tightly linked to airline business. Since our office is situated directly at Basel EuroAirport we are daily in touch with the environment of active aircraft maintenance and therefore able to capture MRO trends at a very early stage.
