On multiple levels, AMOS does justice to the fact that aircraft maintenance is an extremely cost intensive business domain. The Financial Management applications include such tasks as cost and warranty control, invoice generation, stock value determination and integration into the customer’s financial accounting system. All cost related data of a maintenance event noted in the context of workorders, workpackages, projects etc. can be retrieved in the “Billing Module” in order to allow the generation of customer invoices.

Apart from the standard finance interface (transfer of technical invoices into the accounting system, generation of summaries), AMOS disposes of a fully integrated interface to SAP-Finance. The AMOS/SAP interface is an optional AMOS module that provides per aircraft-type, account, selection period, etc. more than 140 key figures of all financially relevant transactions and sees to the daily transfer of these data into the SAP finance system.
