Lufthansa Technik AG and Swiss AviationSoftware (Swiss-AS) have signed a cooperation agreement for the seamless networking of their MRO IT systems.
Lufthansa Technik, as a leading supplier of MRO services, operates numerous IT systems to support its service processes, such as the manage/m WebSuite that covers every aspect of technical operations. Under the cooperation agreement, the MRO IT systems of the two partners will be efficiently interlinked (“B2B integration”).

The partnership with Open Connect (a Swiss company based in Zurich) refers to their product eDOC. Any aviation company can use the most modern technology for the efficient supply and distribution of manufacturers’ technical documentations -- wireless networks, mobile workstations, and the ability to access over 10,000 documents, having over a million pages, anywhere in the world.
By bundling AMOS with eDOC, a win-win cooperation has been formed.

Swiss Technical Services, the Technical Division of Swiss International Air Lines, has been using AMOS right from the start of its technical operation for the SWISS regional fleet. The fully integrated AMOS application in Maintenance, Logistics, Engineering and Planning allows Swiss Technical Services to plan, control and manage all maintenance activities for its own fleet of 24 regional aircraft and for a constantly growing number of customer aircraft of different types.
