The AMOS Material Management module covers all functions required for the management of today’s extensive logistics tasks. AMOS fulfils the complex requirements related to supply-chain management and strategic procurement from point-of-origin to point-of-consumption.
Main features are the optimisation of the ordering and receiving processes, parts availability and component utilisation, warranty control, inventory management and vendor rating.
The Material Management module also ensures cost-effective stock handling and consumption forecasting, including other cost-relevant capabilities that enable the logistics manager to efficiently control all associated business processes.
Due to the high degree of integration to the other AMOS modules, the long-term planning and allocation of material to the respective maintenance events is guaranteed.
