Porter Airlines to adopt Tech Ops Live for Real-Time Fleet Visibility
2026-07-16
At a glance
Swiss-AS is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of Tech Ops Live, a new mobile-enabled capability designed to deliver real-time fleet visibility across airline technical operations.
Tech Ops Live will make its Americas debut with Porter Airlines, who will become the first customer in the region to implement the solution following its planned launch in summer 2026.
A new standard for real-time Tech Ops awareness
Tech Ops Live provides Technical Directors, Maintenance Control Center (MCC) managers and operational stakeholders with an instant, consolidated view of fleet status, accessible anytime, anywhere via mobile devices.
The solution brings together operational data from across the Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem, including AMOS, AVIATAR and flydocs into a single, intuitive mobile application.
In addition to adopting Tech Ops Live, Porter is also implementing flydocs’ Lifecycle Asset Management (LAM). As a global leader in digital records, asset management, and engineering services, flydocs brings this rollout into a broader Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem expansion, connecting real-time operational visibility with stronger technical records and asset lifecycle management.
LAM is connected to Tech Ops Live via AMOScentral and the Ecosystem Data Mesh, the Ecosystem’s new approach to exchanging data across solutions. For aircraft managed in LAM, Lease Return Conditions can be made visible directly in Tech Ops Live. This gives Technical Management immediate access to lease return status without having to log in to LAM or request a separate report.
For Porter, this means that operational stakeholders can access a broader technical picture in one mobile app. They can combine real-time fleet status, maintenance progress, operational KPIs and lease return information in one consolidated view.
By transforming fragmented data streams into a unified real-time overview, Tech Ops Live enables faster, more informed operational decisions and strengthens collaboration across maintenance and operations teams.
Solving today’s operational challenges
Modern airline operations demand immediate access to reliable technical information. Tech Ops Live directly addresses this need by enabling:
The result is a significant reduction in manual reporting effort and improved decision-making speed across technical operations.
Porter Airlines: First customer in the Americas to adopt Tech Ops Live
As one of North America’s fastest-growing airlines, Porter continues to expand its operations with a fleet of over 80 aircraft, supported by a fully integrated digital maintenance environment built around AMOS.
Building on its existing AMOS-based Digital Tech Ops foundation, Porter is extending its capabilities with Tech Ops Live to further enhance operational visibility and responsiveness across its technical operations.
“As we continue to work with Swiss-AS to implement new AMOS capabilities, we are gaining clearer insights into reliability, asset management, finance, inventory, and resource requirements.”
